Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sanders issued a warning ahead of the team’s highly-anticipated road game against the Oregon Ducks.
The 3-0 Buffaloes have been the biggest surprise of the young 2023 NCAA football season. They enter Saturday as a giant 21-point underdog against the No. 10-ranked Ducks, who are also 3-0 entering today’s game.
Per ESPN, the Pro Football Hall of Famer voiced plenty of confidence in his underdog Buffaloes as they try to once again shock the nation.
“We have not (put it together) yet,” Prime Time said. “We feel like this is the day that the world is going to get an opportunity to get to see us in rare form.”
Colorado opened its season with a stunning 45-42 win over the TCU Horned Frogs, last year’s national championship game runner-ups. The Buffaloes followed it up with home wins against the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Colorado State Rams, with the latter needing to be settled in overtime.
Kickoff commenced at Autzen Stadium at 3:30 p.m. EST.
