The transfer portal is where Deion Sanders does some of his best work, and he’s ready to light it up again now that it’s reopened.
Coach Prime is fresh off his first season in charge of the Colorado Buffaloes and will be looking to improve significantly after going 4-8 in 2023. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out where CU’s deficiencies lie, with their offensive line a major sore point.
After the last game of the season, a loss to Utah, Sanders promised to address certain positions.
“We’re getting ready to start cooking,” he told reporters, per The Denver Post. “(Once we) decide to go pick up their grocery and make sure we do it right. You know what we need. Everybody (knows) what we need. And you know, darn well what we need. So we’re gonna get it.”
The Hall of Famer has taken to social media this week to put players on notice, letting them know he “Ain’t Hard 2 Find.”
Prime isn’t having the greatest time right now as multiple staffers have left Colorado, while several recruits have reneged on their commitment to the Buffs. He’s also dealing with a personal loss as his girlfriend of 12 years, Tracey Edmonds, announced their breakup on Sunday.
