New University of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the son of head coach Deion Sanders, has made a wild purchase ahead of his first season with the Buffaloes.
The 21-year-old has apparently splashed at least $200,000 of his NIL money on a new Maybach. The aforementioned sum is the starting price for the vehicle.
Coach Prime made the announcement himself, posting a video online in which he’s heard saying, “Riding with my son. I’m riding with my son.”
“There’s a whole lot going on, man,” Sanders adds. “It wasn’t like this when I was in college.”

Shedeur had a remarkable final season at Jackson State University, throwing for 3,732 yards and 40 touchdowns before following his father to Colorado. He can expect much better competition from the Pac-12 but there’s little doubt the youngster has what it takes to excel there.

Meanwhile, Deion was scheduled to have a pair of surgeries on his left foot this Thursday. The head coach has been struggling with blood clots and has had 10 surgeries since 2021. He went under the knife last month and is again set to be operated.
Sanders will miss media day as a result but has vowed to be ready for the start of the season, which begins on September 2 against TCU.
