Deion Sanders has a plan in place for Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter when they head off to the National Football League, and only six teams qualify for that plan.
The Colorado Buffaloes head coach suggested he will only “allow” his quarterback son Shedeur Sanders and his two-way player Travis Hunter to join just six teams. Deion Sanders projected that Shedeur and Hunter would be the top four players to enter the draft class in 2025.
“Anywhere from one through four,” Sanders said. “One of them is going to be one. And the latter one will not go behind four.”
Those teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons.
Also during his appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Deion Sanders added that the players would be a “good fit” for the Eagles.
When it came to the Atlanta Falcons, he said, “There were certain cities that fit. Atlanta fit. And I want that for my kids. All of them. I want the right fit.”

The San Francisco 49ers appear to be set at quarterback with Brock Purdy who is expected to receive a huge contract fairly soon, so the only place Shedeur would have on that team is watching from the bench unless an injury occurs or Purdy starts to play terribly.
The Dallas Cowboys are getting set to let Dak Prescott play the 2024 season without an extension, and that could lose him next offseason, so Shedeur could possibly head there. However, the team would need to have a top draft pick or even trade to get into position to make it happen.
The Washington Commanders badly need a signal caller, who is expected to come in the draft this year and is unlikely to bail on the new QB after one year when it comes time to select Shedeur.
The Ravens are set with Lamar Jackson, and the Falcons just signed Kirk Cousins to a huge deal, but his age lets you know he is not the future.
Travis Hunter will fit anywhere.
Shedeur Sanders & Travis Hunter Had Tremendous First Year Under Deion Sanders in Colorado
Colorado went 4-8 and 1-8 in the Pac-12 last season, but Shedeur and Travis Hunter still shined through a rough year with Deion Sanders as a first-year head coach.
Shedeur threw for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns against three interceptions during his first year of FBS football after transferring from Jackson State.
Hunter, the two-way star, had 23 tackles and three interceptions as a cornerback while also collecting 721 receiving yards and five touchdowns as a wide receiver.
