Deion Sanders has offered a reaction to Kenan Thompson doing his best Coach Prime impression on ‘Saturday Night Live’ after the Colorado Buffaloes blew a 29-point lead against Stanford earlier this month.
Thompson did a pretty good job of imitating Sanders, showing up in a white Colorado hoodie, a white Buffs cap, sunglasses, a gold chain, and a whistle.
“Man, we were up 29-0 at the half. So, I went home and fell asleep. I woke up this morning, as shocked as anyone. But c’mon man, nobody’s perfect. Name one team that’s undefeated,” Thompson said at one point.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of his side’s clash with UCLA, Sanders said he liked the skit and is a fan of the comedian.
“I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s just get that straight,” he said. “I love him. I love what he’s brought to comedy over…It’s gotta be over a couple of decades, it seems as so. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before, and I would never forget those moments. But it, it was good.”
He went on to add that, while Kenan’s impression was good, Lou Young’s impression of him is the best he’s seen to date.

“I hate to admit it, but Lou is good. Lou Young is really, really good.”
Prime also admitted that his son, Shilo, also does a mean impression of him.
Sanders will hope to see improvement when the Buffs play the Bruins this weekend as they’re only two games away from bowl eligibility.
