Deion Sanders has clapped back at an analyst who disrespected his roster by making a pretty bold claim.
ESPN’s Tom Luginbill has gotten Deion’s attention after stating that the University of Colorado could have the worst roster in the NCAA.
“I think we’re going to finally see, for all the hoopla and all of the hype going into the offseason with Deion Sanders and Colorado, it does not mask the fact that they don’t have any players on that roster,” Luginbill said on ‘The Next Round’.
Luginbill added that the Buffaloes have two solid starting cornerbacks, including two-way star Travis Hunter, as well as a good quarterback in Shedeur Sanders, who is Deion’s son. But he reckons they’re “devoid of talent up front on both sides of the ball.
Coach Prime has since taken to Instagram to respond.
“Wow! Have u been here to see any of the talent live?” he asked.

The Buffaloes only won one game last season and the squad has undergone a massive overhaul since Sanders took over, with most of the players entering the transfer portal due to the coach letting them know they would not make the team. Several players have also come in via the way of transfers.
While there’s been a lot of hype surrounding Deion’s arrival, the Buffaloes aren’t expected to have that great a season under the former NFL star.
Colorado will play its opener against TCU this coming Saturday.
