University of Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sanders had a hilarious response with a reporter after leading his team to a stunning upset win over the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday.
“Prime Time” and the Buffaloes entered the contest as a massive 21-point underdog. But the Buffaloes played a near-perfect game offensively, winning a 45-42 back-and-forth affair against last year’s national championship runner-ups.
Sanders had a hysterical message for a reporter after the game, as you can see in a video clip shared by Phillip Lewis of HuffPost.
“Do you believe now?! Huh? Oh, no no no,” Sanders said. “I read through that bull joke you wrote…I sifted though all that….Do you believe?”
Sanders’ son, Shedeur, had a practically flawless game in which he completed 38 pass attempts for a school record 510 yards and four touchdowns against zero interceptions. Travis Hunter, Dylan Edwards, Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn all recorded more than 100 receiving yards.

The two-time Super Bowl champion-winning cornerback and Pro Football Hall of Famer previously coached the Jackson State Tigers (2020 to 2022). Sanders led the school to consecutive SWAC Championships in 2021 and 2022 before signing a lucrative deal with the Buffaloes.
Coming off a thrilling win at TCU, the Buffaloes now return home to prepare for a home showdown with the rival Nebraska Cornhuskers next Saturday.
