New Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has opened up on his feelings about Nick Saban in a new documentary.
Sanders is the star of a documentary named Coach Prime, which aptly launched on Amazon Prime on December 29. The first episode begins with Sanders discussing Saban while getting his makeup on to go shoot a commercial with the Alabama Crimson Tide HC.
The two men were at odds after Saban accused Sanders and Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fischer of abusing the new NIL incentive to attract star athletes to their programs. Both Sanders and Jackson took offense to the comments, which earned Saban a lot of heat from the media.
The University of Alabama coach subsequently apologized to both men.
Coach Prime, who has dubbed himself the best recruiter in the country, seems to have accepted the apology and started the documentary by branding Saban “a good dude.”
“I knew he what he was trying to say, what he was trying to accomplish,” he said. “You can’t judge a man by the thought process of the moment. He’s established himself to be a monument, so we’re not going to let a moment (dictate) how to feel about him. Coach Saban is a good dude.”

Saban Has Had More To Say About Sanders Since
Saban had reason to bring Sanders up again after a former Alabama assistant decided to join Sanders in Colorado yet opted to continue working for the Tide until the Sugar Bowl, which will be played out this Saturday afternoon against Kansas State. Saban praised Sanders for the way he’s handled the situation.
Meanwhile, Sanders is preparing for his first season in charge of the Buffaloes. Until then, you can catch his new, four-part documentary in which he takes fans behind the scenes at Jackson State on Amazon Prime.
