The Colorado Buffaloes’ destruction at the hands of Oregon came as a massive shock, and things looked as if they were headed that way this past Saturday when they faced the USC Trojans.
Colorado lost, 48-41, to USC at home on Saturday, but it could’ve been so much worse if not for a furious fourth-quarter comeback that fell short.
Despite coming up short against No. 8 USC, Colorado coach Deion Sanders was proud of of his team’s second-half effort in the Buffaloes’ 48–41 loss on Saturday and he made sure they were aware of that as they got to the locker room.
Following the strong effort, Sanders’ son Deion Jr., shared his Dad’s passionate postgame locker room speech on TikTok.
“You know how much I hate losing, because I am winner. You have nothing, nothing, not one thing to hang your head down on,” said a proud Sanders. “You guys fought, you were resilient, you didn’t give up. You could’ve quit, you could’ve tapped out. I’m so darn proud of y’all.”
“Now y’all understand where we are,” Sanders said. “You understand what could’ve, should’ve [happened] if we would have played the first half like we did the second. Understand that taste in your mouth, so you don’t ever [have to taste it] it again.”
Everybody on X praised Prime Time for his speech.

Shedeur Sanders brought the Buffs back from the brink and dared the Trojans to blink in a 48-41 thriller that USC was lucky to survive unbeaten.
Shedeur had a standout game despite their eventual 48-41 loss, completing 30 of his 45 passes for 371 yards and four touchdowns. He did throw one interception, but he also almost led the Buffaloes to a massive comeback after trailing the Trojans 34-14 in the first half.
Sanders didn’t have the best game in Week 4 against Oregon but he certainly made up for it.
