Deion Sanders had a frustrating first season in Colorado, mostly due to an incompetent offensive line.
But he’s not planning to watch his son Shedeur get rag-dolled for another year and has made several moves to prevent that in 2024, having hired a new offensive line coach and secured a commitment from a five-star offensive tackle.
Coach Prime landed a top offensive lineman on Saturday, snagging Houston Cougars star Tyler Johnson from the transfer portal as the OL has opted to play out his final year of eligibility and join the Buffaloes.
This marks another huge acquisition for the offensive line as it comes on the heels of Jordan Seaton’s commitment just a few days ago.
“Committed! We Comin!” Johnson announced on X this Saturday as he posted a photo of himself standing next to Prime – towering over, more so.

The move will be Johnson’s third as he initially committed to Texas out of high school in 2019 and transferred to Houston after the 2021 season.
