Colorado head coach Deion Sanders didn’t seem very pleased with the ratings his players, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, got in ‘College Football 25’.
With the video game set for launch in just over a week, publishers EA Sports have released ratings for the top 100 players.
Hunter has an overall rating of 95 and is the sixth-highest-rated player in the game. The two-way star ranks as the top wide receiver, but Michigan’s Will Johnson has a higher rating as a cornerback.
Coach Prime has admitted that he has no idea how ratings work but still thought Shedeur and Travis weren’t ranked highly enough.
“I don’t know nothing about that video game,” he said, via On3. “I’m not a video game guy. I love video games but I’m a real game guy. I don’t know. Like, you guys talk about ratings and rankings, I don’t know about that stuff.”
Shedeur is the top-rated quarterback in ‘College Football 25’ but is tied with Georgia’s Carson Beck at 93. He’s the 17th-ranked player overall, with Beck 18th.
“I’m just trying to figure out how can Shedeur be tied with another person,” The CU coach remarked “How did that happen? And how can Travis not have the highest score on the game when he’s arguably the best receiver and the best defensive back in college football? So, how can you not be the number one rated guy, period? I don’t understand that either.

“So, I don’t get that stuff and where it comes from, but it’s good because it’s good conversational pieces.”
Deion Sanders Thinks Travis Hunter Is The Best Player In College Football But Says He Can Still Get Better
While Deion Sanders reckons Travis Hunter is the best player in college football, he feels there’s still room for improvement.
“(He can improve) consistency. We’re praying that he stays away from injury that you saw last season,” he added.
“But the kid is, to me, the best football player in the nation. And I think we have two of the top football players in the nation, and I think we’re going to — you’re gonna see a couple more catapult themselves into that early first round. We have those type of players in our locker room.”
