Things seem to be going wildly left for Deion Sanders in Colorado as the Buffaloes have reportedly lost yet another key member of staff.
CU saw offensive coordinator Sean Lewis depart for the San Diego State job following Coach Prime reducing his responsibility late in the season. The program has also lost tight ends coach Tim Brewster to Charlotte and, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, defensive ends coach Nick Williams is leaving too.
This latest move comes as a huge blow to Sanders and the Buffs as Williams is considered to be the best recruiter on staff outside of Prime himself. He was also the chief recruiter for five of the nine 2024 commits Colorado got. His departure could prompt some of them to change their minds, with a few recruits de-committing in recent weeks.
On a brighter note, Sanders has announced that Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp is set to join the staff next season.
