Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sanders offered a straight-to-the-point message for the doubters after the team’s 48-41 loss to the USC Trojans.
Following a surprising 3-0 start, the Buffaloes have now dropped two straight games. Saturday’s game simply wasn’t as close as the score indicated; Colorado trailed 48-21 but managed to cut it to seven with 1:43 remaining.
After Saturday’s loss, Sanders kept the mood positive for his team and offered a strong message for the haters, via the Sporting News.
“If you can’t see what’s coming with (Colorado) football, you’ve lost your mind…You just a flat out hater.”
The school’s perfect 3-0 start feels like a lifetime ago now, but Sanders has good reason to remain positive after another humbling loss. The Buffaloes have already tripled last year’s win total, after all.
They’ll try to get back on the winning track with a road contest against Arizona State next week.
