Deion Sanders and Eddie Robinson Jr. won’t be exchanging Christmas cards this year.
The two head coaches had a quick and bitter post-game handshake on Saturday after Jackson State won its 12th straight SWAC game over Alabama State.
Sanders and the Tigers won 26-12, but as he tried to shake the hand of Eddie Robinson, he was surprised with Robinson’s reaction as he extended his arm to his chest and turned away from him.
After the game, Robinson stated that Sanders disrespected him and his team before the game, which is why he reacted the way he did.
Shedeur Sanders threw three touchdown passes to lead Jackson State. He was 30 of 46 for 332 yards passing.
