Deion Sanders turned reporters against him after his big win on the weekend, though we would suspect that’s exactly how he likes things.
The former NFL cornerback led his Colorado Buffaloes side to a 45-42 upset win over TCU on Saturday, making believers out of many following doubts he could manage a victory against a No. 17-ranked side that went to the national championship game last season.
Coach Prime was very excited after the win and would send a message to his detractors.
“We told you we are coming. You thought we was playing,” he declared. “And guess what? We keep receipts.”
The HC also called out ESPN’s Ed Werder during his postgame presser, refusing to let him get a question in until he said he “believed.”
Deion apparently remembered something Werder wrote about him at some point, letting him know he saw it.
