Tad Prescott is piping hot mad.
Amari Cooper is officially on the move, as the Browns finalized a trade to acquire the 27-year-old receiver from the Cowboys. Dallas’ return is a 2022 fifth-round and sixth-round pick. Along with Cooper, Cleveland will receive a sixth-round pick.
It’s a move that was expected, as multiple reports confirmed that the Cowboys were shopping Cooper or might even release him altogether.
The brother of Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, Tad, took to Twitter after the trade to call out the team over the trade.
“Cleveland? y’all really sent my guy to Cleveland! (Mad emoji face) You will be missed 1-9 best route runner in the game, top 3 WR”
Cooper failed to reach the 1,000 yard mark in 2021, albeit missing two games due to COVID-19. In eight seasons with the Raiders and Cowboys, Cooper has hauled in 517 receptions for 7,076 yards and 46 touchdowns. Cooper has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times.
