Fans are suggesting that Dabo Swinney is washed on the back of his Clemson side losing 28-7 to Duke on Monday.
The Tigers are 0-1 after a terrible first outing for the season in which they made some key mistakes that brought “Clemsoning” back.
After leading the program to a national title in 2016, the head coach declared that “Clemsoning” was dead. But it managed to rear its ugly head in the first game of the 2023 college football season, leading fans to cast doubt on Swinney’s future as some of them are suggesting that he’s failed to adapt to the current era.

The Tigers were the favorites heading into Monday’s game but only managed a single score all night and made some very regrettable mistakes in the red zone, fumbling the football on two occasions, with one of those coming at the five-yard line.
“That’s the weirdest game I’ve ever been a part of,” Swinney admitted after the loss. “I’ve been beat. I’ve had my butt kicked. But that’s the strangest game I’ve ever been a part of.”
The Tigers will hope to get things back on track against Charleston Southern on Saturday, but they certainly don’t look to be in shape for a win over Florida State.
