“Oregon State quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei has emerged as Florida State’s top target in the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3’s Pete Nakos confirmed on Sunday evening. He hasn’t committed yet, but both sides are expected to engage in talks in the near future. He visited the Seminoles earlier in December and the highly coveted signal-caller is expected to eventually decide between FSU and the NFL,” On3 reported on Sunday night.
Uiagalelei recorded 2,638 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions for the Beavers during the 2023 season. He led the program to an 8-5 record before entering the portal following the conclusion of the season.

Uiagalelei spent his first three collegiate seasons with Clemson before he took his talents to Oregon State ahead of the 2023 season. He announced he was transferring shortly after Beavers’ head coach Jonathan Smith was hired as Michigan State’s head coach.
Uiagalelei is considered to be a 4-star prospect and the No. 13 quarterback in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports.
