Ummmm…NO THANK YOU!
Prior to today’s epic Red River Rivalry game between th Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners, the stands inside the Cotton Bowl in Dallas were overrun by a swarm of crickets.
According to reports, the problem began on Friday, and it carried over into today. Prior to kickoff between the two teams, photos showed the giant critters everywhere, from under the teams to inside the urinals in the men’s washroom.
Pat McAfee first reported the issues during his show on Friday. The ESPN host was in Dallas for the festivities this week, as College GameDay was in attendance for the huge Big 12 matchup today.
Thankfully, they were able to clear up the infestation and the game was able to take place with the stands full of Sooners and Longhorns fans.
