The College Football Playoff final four teams have been selected following Saturday’s title games.
The Michigan Wolverines, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns, and Alabama Crimson Tide are headed to the postseason, with the format ensuring that the SEC would not also be represented by the Georgia Bulldogs, who lost to Alabama last night.
Florida State has also been snubbed, although they are ACC Champions and posted a 13-0 record. The Crimson Tide outshone them in strength of schedule, but that’s hardly going to matter to fans, who will only remember the final year of the four-team era for leaving a Power Five champion out.
Some felt the decision was correct, though.
