Connor Stalions is no longer part of the football program at Michigan, having resigned from his post amid their sign-stealing scandal. But that hardly means he can’t attend games.
The former Wolverines analyst was there in the flesh as his former employers beat Alabama in the Rose Bowl on Monday, hanging out with former Wolverines defensive end Chase Winovich right behind the Michigan bench as they enjoyed the action together.
Stalions was suspended after a probe determined he was the mastermind behind an elaborate scheme that allowed Michigan to learn other teams’ signals and use it to their advantage. He later stepped down from his post.
The university remains under investigation by the NCAA but, in the meantime, has advanced to the National Championship game, where they will face the Washington Huskies following the latter’s win over Texas.
