Connor Stalions, the suspended Michigan staffer at the center of the NCAA’s sign-stealing probe, is likely going to be the one person who is going to suffer the worst when it comes to the ongoing investigation into his wrongdoing and how many people knew about it.
It has now seemingly been confirmed that the Ohio State Buckeyes have been directly affected by Connor Stalions and the Michigan Wolverines.
A member of the Ohio State football staff was quoted by Yahoo Sports as saying that the team was obliged to alter its strategy in preparation for the 2022 clash because they were aware of the potential threat of sign theft from the Wolverines.
A new video shows Stalions on the field at a Michigan-Ohio State and he could be seen standing next to the Wolverines’ defensive coordinator.
Ohio State players could be seen looking at their sideline as Stalions and others started pointing to the sky.
That particular play saw CJ Stroud hit Emeka Egbuka for a short touchdown so a possible stolen play did not work.

Despite his denial, it seems incredibly unlikely Jim Harbaugh did not know what Stalions was doing during his time there. Stalions reportedly bought tickets to watch at least five Big Ten schools play prior to their games against the Wolverines. These tickets were purchased over the last three seasons, including the current 2023 season.
Purchasing tickets to the game of an upcoming opponent does not violate NCAA rules, but using those tickets to scout other teams would be a violation of the NCAA rule prohibiting in-person, on-campus scouting.
Stalions was suspended by Michigan last week, and to date, he is the only person involved with the investigation to receive a suspension or any sort of discipline.
