Connor Stalions is certainly not hiding.
Much was made during the days leading up to the College Football Playoff semifinal game in the Rose Bowl about Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal and the man who is at the center of it decided to show his face in a big way.
Connor Stalions was in the stands watching No. 1 Michigan defeat No. 4 Alabama 27-20 in overtime.
The former Michigan analyst resigned from his position as he currently remains at the center of the NCAA investigation into the Wolverines’ alleged sign-stealing efforts. Many reports said Stalions purchased tickets to more than 30 games at 11 Big Ten schools over the last three years. The tickets were distributed electronically to different people around the country. Schools confirmed the tickets were used for those games.
Former Wolverine defensive end Chase Winovich had fans buzzing this weekend when he took to his Instagram and posted a video of Stalions in the stands for the Rose Bowl.
However, nobody knew if this was actually real.

Well, it has since been confirmed.
Jim Harbaugh has remained steadfast in denying knowledge of any plan to illegally steal signals and said he did not direct any staff members to participate in off-campus scouting. “I do not condone or tolerate anyone doing anything illegal or against NCAA rules,” he previously said.
The NCAA investigation is looking into whether or not Michigan scouted future opponents in-person, which was barred by NCAA rules starting in 1994.
This investigation could ultimately lead to the entire 2023 season being eradicated from the record books.
