Colorado star Travis Hunter is one of the best wide receivers in college football – he’s also arguably the best cornerback in college football.
Hunter, who is tipped to be a high first-round pick in next year’s NFL Draft, has gotten off to another great start this term, helping the Buffaloes win two out of their first three games in 2024.
While he excels on both sides of the ball, it’s expected that he will have to choose, which is something he discussed in a recent interview with Caroline Fenton of Yahoo Sports. The way Hunter sees it, he doesn’t have to make a choice between playing wideout or CB and is keen on starring at both positions in the pros.
“What would you say to someone that said you can’t play both corner and receiver at the next level?” Fenton asked during the interview.
“I mean, there’s a lot of people that have been telling me that since I’ve been playing it,” he replied. “So I’m just continue to prove them wrong. Keep proving the haters wrong.
“I mean, there’s a lot of haters, even the top dogs, top dogs are hating on me, but I let it go through one or the other, just let them keep them.

Travis Hunter Takes Very Good Care of His Body
Playing any position on a football field comes with significant wear and tear, let alone playing two. But Hunter is already in a great space as he doesn’t do much partying and is mostly focused on football and recovery. He recently revealed that all he does in his spare time is fish and play video games.
The star WR/CB also told Fenton he gets plenty of treatment done to ensure he’s fresh and raring to go every weekend.
“I just do a lot of treatment throughout the, throughout the week,” he remarked. “My Thurs Thursdays are my treatment days or I just gonna get a full body done.”
The 2-1 Buffaloes are scheduled to play the Baylor Bears this Saturday night.
