Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders would not let his team lose, but it seems like the refs wouldn’t let them lose either.
The Buffs trailed Colorado State by 11 points with under eight minutes to play, but Sanders led the team all the way back to force overtime. And in double-overtime, Colorado was able to prevail 43-35 on Sanders’ touchdown pass to Michael Harrison and a subsequent two-point conversion connection with Xavier Weaver.
A blindside block by Horton negated a rushing score in overtime and moved the Rams back to the 18. Two plays later, CSU’s QB threw a fourth-down pick to Trevor Woods.
A lot of people think that call was incorrect and the Rams got screwed in the end.
The Rams got screwed and fans are saying the game was rigged.

This game was supposed to be a walk in the park for Colorado before it entered Pac-12 play. Colorado won a sixth straight game in the Rocky Mountain Showdown rivalry. It was the first overtime game in the series since 2014.
Sanders threw his first interception of the season in the first quarter. He finished with 348 yards and four touchdowns. The third consecutive 300+ yard game for the Buffaloes QB.
Colorado State dropped another game in the non-conference portion of the 2023 season. The Rams face Middle Tennessee next week. If the team plays like it did last night in its other games, this team might have a good outlook on the rest of the season.
Colorado heads to Oregon to open Pac-12 play with the Ducks.
