Social media detectives believe they’ve uncovered evidence that Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is holding out hope to land with one specific team at the 2025 NFL Draft.
Shedeur Sanders is regarded as one of the top QB prospects in a class that will also include Georgia’s Carson Beck, Miami’s Cameron Ward, Texas’ Quinn Ewers and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe.
And with nine NFL teams sitting at 2-6 or 2-7 heading into Week 10, the race for the Sanders sweepstakes is wide-wide open.
One of those two-win teams includes the Las Vegas Raiders, who dropped their fifth straight game on Sunday (a 41-24 road loss to the Cincinnati Bengals). Interestingly, several fans have noticed that Shedeur Sanders tweets, “Thank you GOD” whenever the Raiders have lost this season.
And here’s another footnote: Sanders has not tweeted “Thank You GOD” when the Raiders have won a game:

With Gardner Minshew II and Aidan O’Connell struggling this year, it’s obvious the Raiders will be in the market for a new quarterback next year. And one has to think that owner Mark Davis, being in a big market and all, would love to land a player like Sanders to build the Raiders brand and sell more tickets.
This season, Sanders has completed 73.3 percent of pass attempts for 2,591 yards, 21 touchdowns, six interceptions and three rushing scores.
Shedeur Sanders Could Be The First Overall Pick Of 2025
With plenty of season remaining in college football this year, there’s no clear-cut front-runner to go first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Beck, Sanders and fellow Buffaloes star Travis Hunter are among the early favorites, though some scouts and analysts view Michigan’s Mason Graham as the best prospect.
If the team that lands the top pick needs a quarterback, there’s a good possibility that it will be Shedeur Sanders. His incredible skill set and star power would immediately bring new hope to the franchise he lands with.
