A former Colorado Buffaloes coach appears to have taken a shot at new head coach Deion Sanders in a recent tweet.
Sanders has overseen a max exodus since taking over at the university late last year, having spent the two previous seasons in charge of Jackson State. Colorado players must have been excited by the prospect of having Coach Prime take over the program, but they received some disappointing news as soon as he walked through the door.
The new head coach immediately told the squad he was keen on replacing every one of them, though he let them know it was their job to convince him otherwise. Over 40 players have hit the transfer portal since the change in coaching staff.
The team’s former offensive coordinator Mike Sanford is now offering free scouting services, posting a tweet in which he insists he will give “unbiased info” on any Buffaloes player in the transfer portal.
“If any Coaches want unbiased info on any of the CU players in the Portal, shoot me a DM with your number and I’ll call you,” he wrote. “I’ll shoot you straight…I have no dog in the fight!”

This seems to suggest that Deion will not be giving unbiased info as he does have a horse in the race, just to switch things up a bit.
Sanders was also recently accused of withholding a former player’s practice film, with the player taking to social media to call him out in a tweet in which he told interested coaches he has no access to his own footage.
