The Colorado Buffaloes remain the biggest story in sports after exceeding expectations to start their season with a 2-0 record under head coach Deion Sanders.
The Buffs kicked things off with an unlikely win over the TCU Horned Frogs and proved it was no fluke when they put a difficult half behind them to beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers in their home opener last Saturday.
The win over Nebraska lived up to the hype, bringing several celebrities out, with viewership records also being reached.
According to FOX Sports PR, the game brought in 8.73 million viewers and was the network’s most-watched Pac-12 game ever, as well as their 10th most-watched regular season game.
It also pulled major numbers where streaming was concerned as it was FOX’s second-most streamed college football game in network history.

What’s even more impressive is the fact that it was right up there with the primetime game, Texas vs. Alabama, which attracted 8.76 viewers.
Their next game, which comes against the Colorado State Rams, also figures to be a hit, with both FOX and ESPN taking their pregame shows on-site.
