FOX Sports has revealed the viewership numbers for Saturday’s contest between Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes and the TCU Horned Frogs.
As expected, the showdown was a huge ratings success for the network.
According to the FOX Sports PR X (formerly known as Twitter) account, the contest drew 7.262 million viewers. This makes it the most-watched Big Noon Saturday game ever on FOX, as well as the network’s third most-watched Big 12 regular season contest.
Sanders’ Buffaloes entered Saturday afternoon’s contest as a giant 21-point underdog against last year’s national championship game runner-ups. But TCU struggled to contain a Colorado offense led by Deion’s son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who tossed a school-record 510 yards to go along with four touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Dylan Edwards, cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn and Xavier Weaver all had over 100 yards receiving in the Buffaloes’ 45-42 victory. Though the defense struggled for much of the game, the group came over with a huge fourth down stop in the final minute to close out the game.

The Buffaloes will try to continue their momentum when they welcome the longtime rival Nebraska Cornhuskers this Saturday. Nebraska is coached by Matt Rhule, previously the HC at Temple, Baylor and the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.
Colorado won just a single game last season. With a victory on Saturday, they will have already doubled last year’s win total. Needless to say, it promises to be a boisterous crowd at Folsom Field.
