Needless to say, social media didn’t hold back in ripping the Buffaloes for breaking one of the unwritten rules of showmanship.
The Buffaloes are the top story of the young NCAA season, entering Saturday’s contest against Oregon with a perfect 3-0 record under Prime Time. The Buffaloes have already tripled last season’s win total, and they come into today’s contest as the nation’s No. 19 ranked team.
Sanders came over to Colorado following a successful three-year stint with the Jackson State Tigers, where he compiled a 27-6 record. Prime Time coached the Tigers to back-to-back SWAC Championships in 2021 and 2022 before making the move to Boulder.
Deion’s son, Shedeur Sanders, is among the early favorites to win the Heisman Trophy. The standout quarterback already has 10 touchdown passes and just one interception.
After their showdown with the No. 10 ranked Ducks, the Buffaloes will come back to Boulder for another highly-anticipated showdown with the No. 5 ranked USC Trojans.
