Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders had some interesting choices when it came to building the “perfect”.
Sports Illustrated post a video on Instagram (you can view it here) of Sanders being asked to build his perfect quarterback.
For “accuracy” he gave none other than seven-time Super Bowl champion and three-time league MVP Tom Brady. When asked about mobility, Sanders chose former Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles star Michael Vick.
Asked about “arm strength,” Sanders stated that this factor simply doesn’t matter. For “football IQ”, “toughness”, and “competitiveness”, Sanders said “Shedeur Sanders” with a smile.
Brady is the consensus greatest of all time (GOAT), and rightfully so. But interestingly, there are actually 22 qualified quarterbacks ahead of him on the all-time leaderboard in completion percentage.
The 46-year-old Brady retired with a career completion percentage of 64.3. Cincinnati Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow is actually the career percentage leader at 68.0, though his sample size is obviously much larger than Brady’s. The retired Drew Brees is second at 67.7 percent.

In regards to mobility, it’s hard to think of a better option than Vick. Even though he lost several prime years to injury and off-the-field issues, Vick is the all-time leading rusher among NFL QBs with 6,109 yards.
Of course, Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson (5,011 rushing yards) is likely to break Vick’s record within the next year or two. The 2019 league MVP has already rushed for 1,000-plus yards in two different seasons.
