The Colorado Buffaloes are losing yet another player.
Offensive tackle Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan, who has been a staple of the team for the past few years, is entering the transfer portal after four seasons with the Buffaloes.
In a lengthy statement, Lichtenhan thanked everyone at the University of Colorado, the coaches, his teammates, and his family.
“After some deep thought and heartfelt conversations with my family, I have decided to enter the transfer portal… I’m excited for the future and my next opportunity,” he wrote.
Lichtenhan led the Buffaloes in offensive snaps this past season. He had a pass block grade of 90.2 by Pro Football Focus two games into the 2023 season, which was the 13th best in the nation at the time.
After redshirting in 2020, Christian-Lichtenhan played in 21 games as a second-year freshman and sophomore at Colorado. He played a team-high 827 offensive snaps as a redshirt junior with the Buffaloes.
