The Bayou Classic is the annual college football game between the Grambling State University Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars. It is one of the biggest rivalries in HBCU football.
One notable name fans will remember is Hue Jackson who was coaching his first season as Grambling State football coach. It did not end well as his team finishes 3-8 that included a loss to Southern on Saturday.
During that game, a man in the stands went viral as cameras caught him holding a lighter to a round object that viewers immediately assumed was a blunt.
Although it may be hilarious, it became even funnier when you realize that it wasn’t a blunt, he was actually heating up a rib.
You have to be born deep down in the country to even think about doing something like this in public.

After the win, Southern advances to face Jackson State in the SWAC Championship next Saturday at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The win gives Southern a rematch with Jackson State, which beat the Jaguars 35-0 in October after ESPN’s “College GameDay” pregame show visited Jackson State for the first time in history.
