Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck is officially finished playing football for the program, but instead of heading to the NFL, he is heading to the University of Miami.
Beck has announced that he will be taking his talents to South Beach next season. He will play for the Miami Hurricanes during the 2025 college football season.
The team is losing Cam Ward so they are in need of some talent at the position.
Originally, Beck had announced that he would enter the NFL Draft following a season-ending injury he suffered during the SEC Championship game in December.
However, the quarterback eventually changed his mind, entered his name into the transfer portal, and eventually committed to the Miami Hurricanes.
Although it may seem like Carson Beck is trying to get better with his skills before heading off into the NFL, many fans read right through him and saw they he only chose Miami so he could be closer to his girlfriend.

Beck’s stats took a dip this past season. In 2024, he was 290-of-448 passing for 3,485 yards and 28 TDs. He also threw 12 interceptions.
Carson Beck Has Been dating Hanna Cavinder For A Few Months
Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder have officially been together since last summer. Dating rumors began when Hanna posted Beck on social media over the Fourth of July weekend.
Beck confirmed the relationship in an interview with ESPN before Georgia started their season opener.
What started as a dream quickly went bad as thousands of fans blamed Hanna for how poorly Beck played during the 2024 season.
Now, he gets to see her in person every single day while he plays football, and she plays basketball for the program.
