Earlier this week, the Clemson Tigers went out in front of thousands at Levi’s Stadium and millions watching and home and completely dismantled the Alabama Crimson Tide as if they were a division 3 type school who had no business on the field.
Unlike many other teams who have won a title before them, the Clemson Tigers will indeed visit President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday in honor of their national championship win.
“I look forward to hosting, right out of the great State of South Carolina, the 2019 NCAA Football Champion Clemson Tigers at the White House on Monday, January 14th,” President Trump tweeted Friday. “What a game, what a coach, what a team!”
Many teams have surpassed the honorary meeting the President upon winning a championship because they donot agree with the commander in chief that is currently in the White House.
The Boston Red Sox have accpeted their invitation, but have yet to set a date. The Washington Capitals also received an invitation, but have yet to make that visit.
