Trevor Lawrence was forced to miss his second straight game tonight as he continues to sit out while recovering from Covid. The Clemson quarterback wasn’t in action against Notre Dame, but he was spotted on the sideline, cheering on his team while wearing a mask.
ABC cameras did catch him pulling his mask down to chat up a teammate at one point, however.
We’re not sure exactly what the ACC’s protocol is, but it does seem strange to think that Lawrence would be too sick to play, but healthy enough to be around his teammates on the sidelines.
