Bell was allowed to hit free agency after the Jets released him on Tuesday. The team had placed him on the trading block, but his contract prohibited any team from making a legitimate offer there.
Bell averaged just 3.3 yards per carry and rushed for 863 yards in 17 games for the Jets after signing a $52 million contract in the spring of 2019.
