Carmelo Anthony’s son has hinted at a recruitment visit that should really excite fans.
Melo, a future basketball Hall of Famer after playing 19 seasons in the NBA, left the game as one of its greatest scorers. And his son, Kiyan appears to be on a similar path.
The teenager has fielded a number of recruitment offers from Division I programs, including Syracuse, which is Carmelo’s alma mater. It appears he’s been hosted at the college based on a photo he posted to his Instagram Story this week.
“From Kiyan Anthony’s Instagram story. He has arrived at Syracuse for his official visit,” Fan Nation’s Mike McAllister shared on X on Thursday.

The senior Anthony is an Orange icon, having led the program to a national title in 2003. He averaged 22.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists a game on 45 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent from three in their uniform before declaring for the NBA Draft.
