Cam Newton Jumps In Stands With A Shirtless Bruce Pearl During Auburn Game (VIDEO)

Cam Newton appears to be back…in college.

Prior to the Tigers’ home game against Georgia on Saturday, the free agent QB posted a poll on his Instagram story. His question: should he watch this huge matchup from the student section at Jordan-Hare Stadium? 95 percent of people had voted yes about an hour before kickoff. Newton showed up and showed out.

The former Auburn Heisman Trophy winner was seen jumping into the crowd with a shirtless Bruce Pearl to the delight of fans.

Newton played only 1 season for the Tigers, but it was a special year. Newton played at Auburn in 2010, leading the Tigers to a national championship and undefeated season in addition to securing the Heisman Trophy.

Newton is currently an NFL free agent after he got released by the New England Patriots prior to the start of the 2021 season. He is sure to get another shot, just a matter of when and where.
