Caleb Williams had quite the day on Saturday.
Williams, who’s the starting quarterback for USC, made it clear how much he doesn’t like Notre Dame with a message he painted on his nails before the game.
He had “Fuck ND” painted across his fingers.
The 2022 Heisman Trophy race just got significantly clearer after his performance against the Fighting Irish. Williams made a huge statement with a dazzling four-touchdown performance in Saturday’s 38-27 win for the No. 6 Trojans over No. 15 Notre Dame.
Williams was already one of the frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy with 3,480 yards passing, 316 yards rushing and 40 total touchdowns. This showing against Notre Dame may have just sealed the deal.
Williams finished the game with 232 yards and one touchdown as the Trojans are just one win away from a likely berth in the College Football Playoff. Not bad for his first season with the team.
