Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers are officially national champions after downing Iowa with an incredible 102-85 performance on Sunday. The game got controversial at the end all because of a taunt.
Reese, who had a 15-point, 10-rebound double double to knock off Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes, taunted Clark with the John Cena “you can’t see me” gesture, one Clark has used on opponents.
Try as she might, it appears that Clark never saw what she was doing.
Asked by reporters after the game if she realized what Reese had done, Clark said she didn’t and that she was just focused shaking hands with everyone.
Reese ultimately got the last laugh as the Tigers won their first women’s basketball national championship.
