Today is the day that many college football fans have been waiting for.
While many of the big-name transfer quarterbacks have chosen where they’ll play their college football next, the nation’s top quarterback recruit, Bryce Underwood, still remains a free agent…
But not for long!
Underwood is set to announce his commitment decision today. While some prestigious Big Ten programs like Michigan and Ohio State have been making their push for the young phenom, it’s a top SEC school that has suddenly emerged as the overwhelming favorite to secure Underwood’s services.
According to On3 insider Shea Dixon, it appears as though Underwood is all-but-confirmed to be heading to LSU to play his college ball.
If Dixon’s prediction holds up, it’ll be a massive score for the Tigers, who are set to lose reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels to the NFL.

Underwood played his high school football at Belleville in Michigan, where he dominated the competition en route to becoming a 5-star quarterback and perhaps the most highly-coveted player in this year’s recruiting class. On3, Rivals and ESPN all have him rated as the no. 1 recruit in his class after he led his school to a perfect 14-0 record and their second straight state title in 2022.
With a 90 percent confidence rating, Underwood joining LSU appears to be a forgone conclusion. Barring a something shocking happening, this decision should become official any time now.
