Bronny James was apparently upset at his coach right after going into cardiac arrest last year.
The USC guard had all of America worried when he got hospitalized after collapsing in practice due to said heart incident and was unable to start the season with his team.
Bronny, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, made his Trojans debut in December and is being integrated slowly, with a move to the NBA likely on the mind as he’s still projected to be a first-round pick.
USC assistant coach Eric Mobley has spoken on his recollection of Bronny’s ordeal, telling The Orange County Register’s Luca Evans that they had gone through a normal practice and were running a scrimmage before the players were given a three-minute water break.
Bronny was right behind Mobley and was speaking to a teammate. The whistle had just blown for the players to return to the court when Mobley heard a thud.
He described the player as unresponsive, with his eyes having rolled into the back of his head, and was out for several minutes before he showed any signs of life.

Mobley didn’t know James had suffered cardiac arrest at the time and thought he was dealing with a seizure.
Bronny tried walking it off on his own after getting up and actually tried to return to practice. And he was actually “upset” when coaches told him he was done for the day. Via FoxSports:
But once Bronny was revived, it was like he never collapsed. Multiple USC team members who were present for the incident told the SCNG that Bronny had to be told to stay in the gym, sit down and wait for the ambulance that had been called and was upset he could not finish practice.
Bronny reportedly pleaded with his coach. “I’m all right… I just hit two buckets in a row, Coach, and I wanted to finish practice. Coach, I was killing ’em,” he begged.
Of course, he wasn’t allowed back and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
Mobley noted that he was moved by the guard’s attitude amid such a terrifying situation.
