Football fans think the draft stock of Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers just took a giant hit, following the emergence of a viral photo with him talking to Rob Gronkowski.
Bowers is far-and-away the top-ranked prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class. Many scouts and analysts view Bowers as a top-five prospect in the draft, though it’s obviously anyone’s guess where a tight end will go in any given year.
Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston shared a photo of Bowers hanging out with retired NFL tight end and four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski. Needless to say, the size difference between the two is very noticeable:
The viral photo prompted many fans to suggest that Bowers’ smaller size (compared to Gronk) will lead to him falling in the draft:

At this time, quarterbacks Caleb Williams (USC), Drake Maye North Carolina), Jayden Daniels (USC) and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ohio State) are the consensus picks to round out the top four in the draft.
Tight ends are rarely taken early in the draft, with Atlanta Falcons star Kyle Pitts (fourth overall in 2021) being the highest selected TE in NFL history.
