Brian Kelly will leave Notre Dame to become the next head football coach at LSU. Kelly, in his 12th season at Notre Dame, became the winningest coach in Notre Dame history with 92 victories earlier this season.
Kelly, who will be replacing Coach O, is reportedly leaving the Fighting Irish for a massive contract down South with the Tigers.
His decision to leave comes after another seismic day on the college football coaching carousel as Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma for USC.
The team is currently ranked 6th in the CFP poll and still has a chance to make the College Football Playoff.

He guided Notre Dame to the BCS title game in 2012 and to College Football Playoff appearances in 2018 and 2020.
