During the NFL Draft earlier this year, the Green Bay packers were the talk of the first round after they traded up to select quarterback Jordan Love and not a wide receiver that everybody expected it to be. It was a move that shocked the football world and had fans wondering about Aaron Rodgers’ future with the team.
Brett Favre was asked about Rodgers possibly playing for their most hated rival in the Chicago Bears, and he stated the fan base would welcome him with open arms.
“I would love to see that. Just from the standpoint that we have killed the Bears collectively. I mean Bear fans would probably be like ‘I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am so glad Aaron Rodgers is on our team.’”
The Bears have had an issue at quarterback for years, and even though they traded up to select Mitchell Trubisky in 2017, he has since fallen out of favor and likely on his way off the team pretty soon.
