Madden San Miguel, A.K.A Baby Gronk, has announced his commitment to a notable college football program.
The 11-year-old is still some distance from high school, with college even further, yet it’s hardly stopped him from announcing where he plans to play. And, while he might change his mind in a few months, he’s taken to social media to make it known that he’s committed to Ohio State.
“BABY GRONK HAS COMMITTED TO THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY,” his Twitter/X account shared on Saturday.
The community note under the post points out that the youngster has not been offered a scholarship by the university, which means the announcement is not binding. It also states that Baby Gronk has committed to several other schools in the past.

“Baby Gronk has not been offered by Ohio State; as such, his commitment is not binding in any way. He has also verbally committed to Oregon and LSU in recent years,” the note reads.

Baby Gronk Has Done This Before… A Lot
Madden announced a “top 30” list of his preferred schools last week, which featured several Power conference programs. It appears he’s narrowed it down, though fans reckon this is just another publicity stunt as it’s hardly his first commitment.
“You living vicariously through your child and setting him up for failure is sickening,” one wrote.
“You ruining your son’s chance at a future,” another commented. “Stop.”
According to an article from Bleacher Report, the 11-year-old has “committed” to LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Missouri since last July.
In any case, the kid has only just completed fifth grade and is years away from getting scouted.
