This is the news that we were all hoping for after seeing Denmark’s Christian Eriksen collapse on the field midway through his country’s Euro 2021 match vs. Finland.
According to the latest report from UEFA, Eriksen was taken to a nearby hospital in Copenhagen and has been stabilized.
He was reportedly conscious and breathing when he left the field. There is also a photo confirming he was awake while being stretchered off the pitch.
The game has been postponed by UEFA for the time being. No word yet on when it will resume.
