Just a few hours before the 2019 NFL season kicks off, all headlines shifted from the Green bay Packers and Chicago Bears game to what was going on with the Oakland Raiders.
Oakland Raiders GM Mike Mayock allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation with Antonio Brown about a social media post calling out the team for handing him a fine after he missed practices.
Brown reportedly had to be restrained from attacking him, reportedly threatening to punch him in the face.
Mayock released a brief statement to reporters that Brown was not only absent from practice, but wasn’t in the building at all.
Not long after Mayock issued his statement, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden revealed “an announcement” would be coming from the organization.
