We may have just witnessed the dirtiest helmet-to-helmet hit of all time, certainly this year.
One player on the Boston College Eagles could be seen delivering that nasty hit as the replay showed him launching his body and helmet into a Pittsburgh Panthers player.
The incident occurred during the first half when Epps went up to make a catch across the middle of the field. Johnson could clearly be seen leading with his helmet as he hit the Pitt tight end in midair.
Boston College cornerback Khari Johnson was indeed ejected for that atrocious hit.
The tight end that he hit was Malcolm Epps.
For the season, the tight end came into the contest with seven catches for 69 yards and zero touchdowns.
